Both patterns at my Etsy store!
I’ve created a monster!!
A “Munchie Monster” to be exact, and I’ve named her Nommie. 🙂
I’ve recently been on Ravelry, and joined a group called “Ami-Along.” The group has started a fun contest/crochet along that features many free/reduced price patterns everyone can use at a chance to win some great prizes! I thought this would be a fun thing to take part in during the summer.
I fell in love with this pattern for the Mini Munchie monster by Alyssa Voznak. My Munchie is only about 7′ tall, while she has a pattern for a much larger one. The pattern just comes with the monster, and I created the screaming cookie and terrified cupcake on my own. I’ve started creating her older brother, I’d like to have a fun mini-photoshoot showing sibling rivalry over the snacks haha.
Although, I’ve got soooo many projects and orders to finish -_- I really shouldn’t be taking on extra things, but these are too tempting! If anyone has a Ravelry account, I’d highly suggest taking part. There are tons of great patterns from artist like AdorablyKawaii, Hookabee, and ILOVEHandmade.
Did everyone have a great 4th weekend? We went weeks with beautiful sunny weather-EXCEPT for the 4th. Though the weather was gloomy, rainy, and our fireworks show was reduced from 60 minutes to 10, I had an extraordinary time walking barefoot on the beach for the first time. I finally got to see the ocean, and while I was mystified I felt sort of intimidated, like the ocean would swallow me up. But I eased up when I held my husband’s hand and we started looking for the perfect sea shells. That hour and a half of beach time made my weekend amazing. One day I hope we can go back when the sun is out heehee.
Have a great day everyone! ❤
Good morning everyone!
Since my body likes depriving me of sleep, thought it was the perfect time to post. Took longer than I thought, but here are my baby dragons.
The final pattern will be based off the green dragon, after an encounter with my “dear” husband: Here I was sitting at my dinner table turned craft table finishing up on the red dragon. Filled with glee, I dash over to Chris who was enthralled in TV.
“Ta-da, I’m done,” I presented my creation with a beaming smile.
“… What is it?” He asked confused.
“The baby dragon I’ve been working on! What does it look like?”
“Oh, I thought it was a demon, or looks like an evil pug with wings.” He started laughing while simultaneously apologizing (doesn’t really seem sincere!). I slumped away, for since that moment no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t un-see my red dragon as an evil pig.
Thankfully, he was right and a few easy adjustments to the snout and horns gave me a much more recognizable baby dragon. After a few more pictures his pdf pattern will be done, and I already know what theme the dragons will have 😆
The bunny picnic set is also 90% complete, I have to say these pattern sets are super fun to make! Not sure what animal comes after dragons… mice? Hedgehogs? Foxes? Who knows.
Everyone have a good day, and for my US readers, have a safe 4th of July weekend!

Good Morning everyone!
Thought I’d start the day off with a blog post to share with everyone: this cute kitty clip. Last week when I was wondering through Pinterest, I saw a picture of this clip in someone’s hair, and I was devastated when the picture didn’t lead me to the original source. After all my hunting, I was giddy to be led to Krawka’s wonderful blog. The kitty clip was so adorable, how could I not make one for myself?
The pattern is super simple, and doesn’t take long to make at all!

That’s about it! I tried so hard to get a good picture of me wearing it…but sometimes selfies aren’t the best answer, hahaharrr.
If you have spare time, pop by Krawka’s blog to see more of her amazing work, here are a few of my personal favorites:
Finger puppet Super Heros, Hooded Bear Cowl, and Baymax patterns are all offered for free! She even has super villains to go with her super heros, they are all too adorable! Sometimes I wish I had a kid so I had more of an excuse to make stuff like that >.> Or I could just get a head start now hahaha 😀
Last but not least, I want to share River of Strike a Spark’s little bear from my pattern, how kawaii is this?!
Everyone have a great Tuesday!

For once I followed through and finished a project, woohoo! I completed a full pattern set for my little Blue Bear and his little baked goods. I’m so happy how he turned out ^_^
I’m still on a roll with this pattern making kick – today I’m working a picnic set for more of my minis, that is when I can find time to work on them. We’ve had a new member added to our little family:
This is our baby kitty, Sora! We adopted him this past Saturday. He’s so tiny, only two pounds and just turned two months. He keeps me company and gives me plenty of entertainment with his bursts of energy, I could easily run around playing for an hour or so. Of course when I do try to crochet, he’s right next to me attacking my hands and hooks. He’s such a joy to have, so glad we could give him a home. After a little while, we will be searching for a perfect rescue dog to complete our family 🙂
Also before I go, big shout out to the lovely Jane of Rainbow Junkie, she did a phenomenal job of testing and critiquing my amigurumi bear pattern, and she set me the adorable results:
Couldn’t have created a better pattern without your help 🙂 I’m waiting to hear back from another tester and I’d like to share her results as well. I’ve now got the patterns for the bears, baker set, and bunnies in my Etsy shop. Each pattern also comes with a special coupon code.
I’ve become quite a hermit lately here in South Carolina. I find myself ready to find a job yet a tad more paranoid of venturing out the house. I don’t like the super busy four lane roads, the area is void of any open space, nothing in our area is unique or leisure. I really miss the suburban feel that I’ve always been around. But, I don’t allow myself to dote on this too much for my husband’s sake. This is the life we have and I decided to be a Navy wife, but this week has been my mope week lol. Next week it’s “buckle down and be a big 25 year old” week! I’ll find the silver lining and keep searching for my gem and job in this urban jungle.
Anywho, it’s time to get crocheting while the little kitten is asleep, have a great day everyone!
Naturally, you make a bear you make a bunny, and then afterwards you start on your tiny baby dragons! Huh, that’s not the order? Oh well…how else does one spend their 25th birthday? With a crochet hook in hand of course!
Three bears down, three bunnies down, and I have started on a trio of dragons to join the group. Not to mention I’m making patterns for their individual habitats. ^^ This pattern is proving to be super fun at the moment~
Had one tester for the little bear pattern, still would like two more and more names suggestions, although there are a few I find adorable. Thanks to all who participate, have a good evening everyone!
